In addition to her work with Brandi Hudson, Brandi is a passionate advocate for diversity, equity, and inclusion. During her corporate career, she founded numerous Employee Resource Groups and was Chair of Medtronic's 800-employee African American/Black Employee Field Sales Resource Group.
In 2021, Brandi founded The Raise: Generations of Black Excellence, a mission-driven organization that aims to increase Black philanthropy across the University of Michigan while advocating for Black students, staff, and faculty. Additionally, for her esteemed Alma Mata, The University of Michigan, Brandi serves as the co-chair of the “Look to Michigan” Campaign. She is on the advisory board for the Michigan Sports Tech fund, The Dean's advisory council for the College of Literature, Science and the Arts and is also the co-chair for the Bay Area for the University’s upcoming capital campaign.
